Welcome to our Gear43 Shop. This isn't your ordinary shop. Here's a little more information about why we're different.

A few years ago, we had a crazy idea: What if there was a way to shop products that were personally tested and reviewed by people like you and me, so shoppers could feel confident in their purchase?

That's how Gear43 was born.

We're a little different than the rest... Fake reviews? We don't do that here.

When you shop here, we want you to feel confident in what you're buying, which is why we only sell products we can stand behind because we've tried them ourselves. 

Our Process

We're pretty picky with the products that end up on our shop! Let us tell you a little bit more about our process and how a product ends up on this site...

  • We find products

    We scour the Internet to find the best brands with cool, unique products that solve a real need. Only if they meet our initial criteria do we request a product to review.

  • We use them

    We don't just put these products in a drawer and forget about them. Our reviewers integrate them into their day-to-day lives to review and test every minute detail.

  • We tell you what we think

    After our extensive product review & testing period, we create thorough, unbiased content to tell you the good and the bad, so you can make an informed decision. Only if we think this product is something you'll LOVE, do we add it to our shop.

Austin

Austin is the founder of Gear43. In fact, this site was born from his passion of helping people find the right products. And this passion carries through to all of his reviews, with honest opinions and thorough research.

 

 

Adam

To say that Adam puts products to the test is an understatement. Whether it’s getting firewood, hiking in the woods, or doing chainsaw carvings, Adam uses his gear to the max.

 

 

Luke

As a former firefighter, Luke knows what makes good gear. It needs to be high quality, with a balance of cool design elements. And that’s what you can expect to see in his reviews as well: a balance between functionality and style.

*While we do personally test every product on this site, we don't test every single color or some specific add-ons that we feel won't significantly change our opinion of the product. But we don't want to limit you to the color and add-on options that we tested, so we do add variations for your shopping experience.
